Look beyond a detection-only headline
A useful comparison asks whether the price includes locating the source, reaching the pipe and completing the repair. Parts, testing and reporting can also make a difference to the final scope. Ask about these items before committing to an appointment.
The Flow Tracker residential package
The total is £1,350 including any applicable tax. It covers investigation, specialist detection and tracing, required access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts and materials, appropriate testing and a Trace & Access report. Repair workmanship is covered for 12 months.
The deposit is part of the total
Once the job and appointment are confirmed, a £100 booking deposit is requested through a payment link. This leaves £1,250 remaining. The agreed residential job is not charged at a separate hourly rate simply because it takes longer.
Allow for work outside the package
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded, including tiles, floor finishes, plaster, paint, cabinetry and external surfaces. Business premises and commercial instructions receive a separate quotation. Confirm the exact job before paying a deposit.
What to tell us when you enquire
If another company has traced the leak, share its report. Make sure the person authorising the work understands any access needed and has permission for shared or neighbouring areas.
